We are a small, committed group that meets once a month to take care of the coastal strip from Deep Bay to Eggs and Bacon Bay in the lower Huon estuary, southern Tasmania. If you are interested in joining please pop along to a working bee or get in touch by following the link below.

Upcoming Events
Monthly Working Bee:
Last Saturday of every month (except December and January). Look out for the blackboards on Abels Bay Road to find out when and where to meet.
Seagrass Events:
Sunday, March 28th. Sandrock Bay. Meet at 10am for the midday low tide.
Please bring suitable clothing for getting wet and staying warm - you may like to wade, snorkel or kayak. We need at least two kayaks - please email us to let us know if you can bring one.
Next activity will be late in April. Details to follow.
2026 planting and maintenance:
Saturday, May 30th. Elizabeth Point. Meet at 10am for routine maintenance: weeding, some burning (perhaps), replacement or infill planting.
Plant Offer
Do you have land available to plant out for wildlife habitat? Can you protect the plants and help them establish?
We still have plants available for financial members to put on private land where planting will extend or enhance biodiversity.
